Nate Willems Secures Local Law Enforcement Endorsement in Attorney General Race

Carter Lake Peace Officers Association announces endorsement of Willems

CARTER LAKE, Iowa – The Carter Lake Peace Officers Association has endorsed Nate Willems for Iowa attorney general, citing his commitment to improving public safety, supporting first responders, and protecting the rights of Iowa workers.

"This endorsement reflects the trust that Iowa's public safety professionals place in me to keep communities safe, hold people and corporations accountable when they break the law, and protect the rights of all Iowans," said Nate Willems. "As attorney general, I'll continue to ensure that the service is valued, their voices are heard, and that they are fairly compensated for the risks they take on behalf of all Iowans."

Willems, a labor attorney and lifelong Iowan, has spent his career standing up for workers and protecting their rights. As an attorney, Willems previously represented Carter Lake police officers to secure the largest collective bargaining wage increase in Iowa history.

The Carter Lake Peace Officers Association endorsement adds to a growing coalition of Iowans supporting Willems' work on behalf of frontline employees and public safety professionals.
